At Me Animal Assisted Wellness we want to offer our community an alternative service.
We provide a safe environment surrounded by nature and animals to support learning, achieving goals, and a therapeutic space, to heal or grow
We both have had long careers in the horse racing industry before starting this new adventure. While working in racing we experienced first hand the connection between stable hands and their horses. This lead us to study equine psychotherapy at the Equine Psychotherapy Institute of Australia.
We have chosen to work with ex racehorses in our wellness and therapy sessions.
Our horses have been carefully chosen to join our team because of their temperaments and personalities.
My background is in the horse racing industry where I was a Racehorse Trainer for many years. I was lucky enough to travel with this job to England, Ireland, and New Zealand to experience their racing cultures. While in this job I witnessed the comfort horses gave people working in the stables.

I noticed the growing stress people are under and wanted to put the two together to support others.
I enjoy cycling and attempting to surf when I get the time.

My journey as a therapist started while I was working as a track rider in the horse racing industry and volunteering with our therapy dog Dude at our local hospital. It was an amazing experience to witness the difference Dude could make in patient's and staff's mood for the day or even the week.
In my spare time I enjoy trail running, now proudly up to half marathons. maybe one day I will manage a full!

We would like to acknowledge the Bunurong people who are the Traditional Custodians of this land. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present of the Kulin Nation.
Sessions are offered in a range of locations on our little eight acre farm in Moorooduc. On this beautiful property we have two dams, two orchards, paddocks, stables and indoor area.
The farm is surrounded by nature and wildlife. There are some resident wild ducks, frogs and native birds.
